YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have identified and charged two young men they say were involved in a January 2012 burglary.

Cory Baker, 22, and Wesley Bentzel, 25, both of Spring Grove, are facing multiple charges including burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and theft.

On Jan. 30, 2012, a homeowner in the 1900 block of Worth Street in York found her rear door kicked in and jewelry missing.

During their investigation into the incident, police discovered that Bentzel sold the jewelry to a local store so he could pay his phone bill, which was turned off the night before.

Police also executed a warrant on Baker's cell phone records, which revealed that he drove Bentzel to the burglary and to the store to sell the jewelry.

During an interview with police, Baker admitted he had been involved.

Both men were taken to York County Prison. Bentzel was held on $2,500 bail; Bentzel, on $15,000.

Baker is currently out on bail for his part in the West York Organized Retail Crime Ring in which police say he committed several retail thefts and returned stolen merchandise valued at over $2,000.

Bentzel is among 22 others who are waiting for charges to be filed for his part in the ORC Ring.
