A Lancaster man has been charged with having sexual relations with a 16-year-old girl while he was a youth pastor at her church.
Manheim Township police said they filed a criminal complaint against 27-year-old Aaron E. Springer that charges him with a single first-degree misdemeanor count of corruption of minors.
Springer was a youth pastor at the First Assembly of God, at 1025 Columbia Avenue, and engaged in sexual relations with the girl, who was a member of the youth group, police said.
According to the complaint, Springer admitted that he engaged in sex with the teen approximately 10 times.
The incidents occurred at the church and in Springer's vehicle while it was on church property between November 2011 and July 2012, the complaint states.
