Lebanon police said they charged a woman with assault after she tried to burn an officer with a cigarette.
The officer was arresting 65-year-old Judith Carman for trespassing at a laundromat at 12th and Cumberland streets when the incident occurred Thursday night, police said.
Carman said, "I'll burn you" as she tried to poke the officer in the face with the lit cigarette, police said.
Police had responded to the laundromat just after 8 p.m. when a customer found Carman in the restroom.
Carman, of no known address, yelled at the patron and threatened them before leaving the business, police said.
She was charged with aggravated assault and criminal trespass and sent to Lebanon County Prison on $10,000 bail.
