One person was air-lifted to the Hershey Medical Center and four others were hospitalized following a crash on I-81.
Police report that the two-vehicle crash occurred near Chambersburg just before 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Five people—two adults and three children—were trapped, and emergency crews needed to use equipment to free them.
Officials say one of the vehicles left the southbound lanes, went through the median and crossed into the northbound lane. It then struck another car.
One of the adults was air-lifted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center, the other four were taken to Chambersburg Hospital.
There is no word as to the extent of their injuries.
