A fire that scorched a wooded area on the property of the Mechanicsburg Cemetery is being investigated as a possible case of arson.
Upper Allen Township police said the fire Sunday originated at or near a rocky area behind the cemetery, in the 800 block of S. York Street, where juveniles are known to hang out.
The fire scorched an area of about 4,000 square feet before it was extinguished, police said.
