NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lancaster County man has been jailed on charges he stole more than $90,000 from his former employer.

Sean J. Van Den Dries, 44, of Elizabethtown, allegedly wrote unauthorized checks to himself and others, and made unauthorized purchases with a company credit card between February 2011 and January 2013 while he was the business manager for Hurst Tire in Earl Township, according to New Holland police.

Van Den Dries also failed to deposit cash received from customers, forged checks, and voided out work orders for customers and himself, police said.

Authorities said Van Den Dries admitted to the crimes during a police interview.

He was charged with felony counts of theft and forgery and sent to Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 bail.
