Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Pittsylvania County

Update 7 a.m.:

Pittsylvania Co., VA - Fire officials said the cause of the fire at the mobile home in Pittsylvania County had to do with an electrical problem with the stove.

Crews rushed to the scene about 5 a.m. Thursday morning on Ferry Road.

This is just off West Main Street.

The fire has been contained but according to fire officials, the home has been deemed a total loss.

Two people were in the home at the time of the fire but they both managed to get out safely.

Pittsylvania Co., VA - Fire crews are on the scene of a structure fire in Pittsylvania County.

Fire officials say the fire is on Ferry Road which is just off West Main Street.

So far there are no injuries.

We do have a crew on the way to the scene.
