York, Harrisburg to hold St. Patrick's Day Parades
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Both Harrisburg and York will hold a St. Patrick's Day parade Saturday afternoon and Meteorologist Brett Thackara said attendees should "prepare for a damp and maybe, at times, slushy Saturday."
York's parade starts at 1 p.m. and goes along Market Street between Penn and Duke streets.
Harrisburg's kicks off at 2 p.m. and starts at Walnut Street near the capitol then turns onto 2nd Street and then again onto North Street.
Harrisburg's parade was canceled last year because of stormy weather. The organizers said they will only cancel the parade for heavy rain, snow or ice. The final decision will be made at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
