The Carroll Township police department hopes a new plan to keep schools safer will give parents peace of mind. In an agreement with the Northern York County school district, a daily patrol will be done inside each of the district's four schools. Chief Sean Kapfhammer cites recent violence across the country as the reason behind the new agreement. In addition to the new patrols, officers will also attend more school events and participate in story telling for younger students.
