A 59-year-old woman was killed in a crash Saturday due to roadway conditions and inclement weather, according to state police.
Troopers said Deborah Venesevich of Williamstown was driving on Route 209 in Washington Township just before 2 p.m. when she spun out of control and flipped into a drainage ditch, landing on the vehicle's roof.
Venesevich was pronounced dead on the scene. Her 78-year-old passenger was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center with what police described as "major" injuries.
