Woman, 22, arrested after foot chase at K-Mart

EPHRATA, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police arrested a 22-year-old woman following a retail theft at an Ephrata K-Mart.

Jamie Mendenhall of Ephrata was arrested for retail theft and shoplifting after a short foot chase at the K-Mart in the 1100 block of South State Street.

Mendenhall reportedly took cold tablets from K-Mart and ran from security but was taken into custody by Ephrata Police in a development behind the K-Mart.

She was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
