HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

About 45 United Water Pennsylvania customers in the Rutherford Heights area of Swatara Township, Dauphin County will have to boil their drinking water for at least the next two days.

The boil water advisory was issued Wednesday afternoon after repairs were made to a water main break at 65th and Clearfield streets.

United Water Pennsylvania spokesman Robert Manbeck said the company has notified affected customers.

He said the advisory will remain in effect until at least noon Friday.

The cause of the water main break, which was discovered at around 8 a.m., was not immediately known.
