A Lancaster man will spend more than 10 years in federal prison for distributing child pornography.
Lloyd Hershey Wenger Jr., 46, was sentenced Tuesday to 121 months imprisonment followed by 20 years of supervised release. He must also pay $5,000 in restitution and register as a sex offender.
Wenger was indicted in February 2012 after he shared with an undercover FBI agent numerous images depicting children, some as young as infants, engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith.
A search of Wenger's computer then uncovered more than 1,800 images and over 500 videos of child pornography, Smith said.
Wenger pleaded guilty to the charges in August.
