Franklin County Woman Beaten in Home Invasion, Suspect Wanted

Franklin County, VA - Investigators in Franklin County are looking for suspects after a woman was severely beaten during a home invasion Thursday morning.

The victim called 911 to the home on Philpott Road just before 7 am, saying she'd been beaten and needed rescue.

She ended up having to be airlifted for treatment.

Police say the woman indicated one person with a weapon was responsible.
