HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are searching for two men involved in an armed robbery at a Pizza Hut in Harrisburg.

At around 11 p.m. on Friday the Susquehanna Township Police Department responded to the Pizza Hut in the 4300 block of North Front Street after receiving reports of a robbery.

Authorities say two men entered the restaurant just before closing time and forced the employees into the freezer area. The employees were then sprayed with mace.

The robbers took an unknown amount of money from the registers and fled.

The men were dressed in all black clothing and were armed with semi-automatic handguns. Any distinguishing features were hidden by their masks and gloves.

One robber was described as tall—between 6-foot and 6-foot-2—with a broad build. The other was between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot with a stocky build.

A vehicle with a loud exhaust system was heard leaving the area just after the incident, but police are not sure if it belonged to the robbers or not.

Employees were treated for the pepper spray attack at the scene. There were no other reports of injuries.

Anyone with information may contact police at 717-652-8265 or 717-909-TIPS.
