There is outrage over the proposed closing of two local air traffic control towers.
A group of protestors demonstrated outside the Lancaster Airport on Tuesday.
The airport's tower is among the 147 towers across the country that will close on April 7 because of automatic federal spending cuts.
The tower at Capitol City Airport is also on the closure list.
If the towers are closed, pilots will have to radio each other to schedule runway use.
The tower at the Lancaster Airport operates between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., so pilots are already self-coordinating their overnight take-offs and landings.
