A Steelton man has been held for court in a fatal shooting outside an after-hours club in Harrisburg last month.
Corey Reid appeared for a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Marsha Stewart, who found enough evidence to send the case to Dauphin County Court. A formal arraignment was set for May 23.
Authorities said Reid and 30-year-old Matthew Dyson got into a simple dispute inside the club in the 100 block of South Cameron Street on February 17. When Dyson left the club, Reid followed him to the parking lot and shot him in the chest, according to investigators.
Dyson died at a hospital a short time later.
Reid, 19, has been charged with criminal homicide and a firearms offense. He remains in the Dauphin County Prison without bail.
