NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are charging a Cumberland County man with possession of child pornography.

Michael Bennett, 52, was on probation following a 2008 arrest for similar charges. He was living at the Travel Inn on Commerce Drive in New Cumberland when his probation officer found out he had a laptop, which was a violation of his parole.

Authorities seized the computer and turned it over to the Fairview Township Police Department.

Following a forensic examination of the computer, police found 41 images of minors engaging in explicit or sexual acts.

Bennett admitted to using the computer to view these images. He was then arraigned, and bail was set at $25,000.

He is currently incarcerated at the Dauphin County Prison.
