Lifestyle Evolution Inc. recalled the bars because of undeclared milk on the ingredient label.

The bars are safe to consume for people who do not have a milk allergy. However, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk products may run the risk of serious or even life-threatening reactions if they eat the bars.

Customers who have purchased the NuGO bars should throw them away and bring their receipt to GIANT/MARTIN'S for a full refund.

According to the press release, symptoms of food allergies generally appear within a few minutes up to two hours after a person has eaten the product.
