PAXTANG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Paxtang police said they have a suspect in custody following a weekend bank robbery.

Authorities said a man entered the Sovereign Bank in the 500 block of South 29th Street with a semi-automatic handgun Saturday afternoon.

He pointed the weapon at employees and customers, demanding money from them. He then fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

They issued a warrant for Tashan Layton Sunday evening. He later turned himself in.

Layton is currently in Dauphin County Prison on $500,000 bail.
