Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has ordered flags to fly at half-staff to honor U.S. Navy SEAL Brett Shadle.

The 31-year-old from northern Dauphin County was killed Thursday during a training exercise outside Tucson.

The military said Shadle collided in mid-air with another SEAL during routine military free-fall training.  He was a special warfare chief operator for SEAL Team Six, the group that carried out the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden.

Shadle grew up in Elizabethville and was a graduate of Upper Dauphin High School.  Many people left flowers at his childhood home over the weekend.

Shadle is survived by a wife and two young children.
