Police have charged three Berks County residents with the robbery of a Turkey Hill convenience store in Elizabethtown last week.
Northwest Regional police on Monday identified the suspects as Nathan Nonnemaker, 25; Joseph Gladden, 18, both of Birdsboro; and Shanelle Boyd, 24, of Sinking Springs.
Police said a lone robber went into the store at 998 North Hanover Street early Friday and demanded money and cigarettes. He fled with four cartons of cigarettes and about $96 in cash.
Nonnemaker was charged with robbery, theft, attempted robbery and other offenses, while Boyd and Gladden face counts of robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, and criminal attempt.
