The owner of a Lancaster barber shop was hospitalized after an unknown gunman shot him in both legs Monday night.
Lancaster police said the 29-year-old man was shot at the Karved Creations Barber Shop, at 401 East King Street, shortly before 9 p.m.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
Police said their preliminary investigation has determined that a lone shooter entered the shop and fired several rounds before fleeing south on Plum Street.
There are no indications at this point to indicate that a robbery or attempted robbery took place, and there are no indications that the attack was random in any way, police said.
