Pennsylvania's attorney general is warning residents of an apparent scam concerning the Affordable Care Act.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane said people across the country in recent days have received calls asking for personal information in order to obtain a "national medical card" from the government.
Kane said no such card exists.
She said Pennsylvanians who receive a phone call from someone offering to help them obtain a national medical card should call the Attorney General's Health Care Hotline at (877) 888-4877.
Kane said any information that can be provided - such as the name, telephone number, or location of the caller - would be very helpful.
