Roanoke, VA - Next month "The Greatest Show on Earth" will be coming to Roanoke.

And all week long their advance party, The Ambassadors of Laughter, have been spreading the word and cheers to kids all over the Roanoke Valley.

Friday "Cherie and Dave" spread some cheer by showing off some of the secrets of the big top.

It all happened at the Kirk Avenue YMCA in front of about 120 kids of all ages.

The 45 minute show included all sorts of tricks including lessons in balancing, juggling... but most of all, laughter.

Dave & Cherie are the clowns also known as the Ambassadors of Laughter

Cherie - "Getting out into the community and giving back is one way Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's way of giving back to the community."

Dave - "And having fun!"

Cherie - "And that gives us the greatest job on earth...

Together - "With the greatest show on earth!"

The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus will make its way to Roanoke for a run from May 2nd through the 5th at the Roanoke Civic Center.
