Three of Harrisburg's mayoral candidates squared off at a forum Monday night.
Democrats Lewis Butts, Dan Miller, and Eric Papenfuse took to the mic at the Stage on Herr at the Midtown Arts Center.
The forum was organized by the Capital Regional Stonewall Democrats. The candidates were vying for an endorsement from the LGBT group.
"I'm the change candidate," Papenfuse said. "Dan Miller and Linda Thompson have a combined 20 years experience to try to get this thing going for the city and our image has never been worse."
"People want to hire someone who can actually do the job and I think I've got the best qualifications, the best skills and the best financial knowledge to handle the city's financial crisis," Miller said.
"We have specific demands in which crime, decent housing, economy, clean water, clean air," Butts said.
All Democrats in the May primary were invited to participate. Mayor Linda Thompson was the only no-show.
