ENOLA, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Cumberland County man is headed to trial on charges he sexually abused a 10-year-old girl and gave her money for sexual acts.

Steven Brungard, 63, of Enola, waived his preliminary hearing Tuesday before District Judge Richard Dougherty, who set a formal arraignment for July 25.

Brungard was then returned to Cumberland County Prison, where he is being held without bail on 20 criminal charges, including felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, rape of a child, promoting prostitution, child pornography and indecent assault.

According to charging documents, Brungard admitted to police that he was in a sexual relationship with the girl, that he used video to record at least two sexual encounters with her, and that he paid her between $25-$120 for acts that including modeling for him and engaging in sexual intercourse.

Prosecutors have said he could face a maximum of 25 years in prison because of a previous statutory rape conviction in 1980.
