SPRING GROVE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a theft out of York County involving $42,700 worth of equipment.

Authorities say that sometime between 5 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. on Friday, an unknown person took two all-terrain utility vehicles and a backhoe from a dealership in the 7400 block of Lincoln Highway West.

The business reported that two Kubota RTV900XT utility vehicles (valued at $12,900 each) and a Kubota BX25D tractor loader (valued at $16,900) were taken. All three units were brand new and for sale.

Police say the vehicles were driven through the back lot of the dealership to a remote area. They were then loaded onto an unknown vehicle or trailer.

This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information may contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717-292-3647.
