Adult, juvenile injured after being pinned under tractor

HALIFAX, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two people, an adult and a juvenile, were flown to Hershey Medical Center after being pinned beneath a farm tractor in Dauphin County.

Police were called to the Matamoras area of Halifax Township for the report of a farm accident on Saturday afternoon.

According to authorities, the adult and the juvenile were attempting to pull out a tree when the tractor flipped over backwards and pinned them beneath it.

The family was able to free both people using a jack, and the two victims were flown to Hershey Medical Center via Life Lion.

Their injuries are reportedly "moderate to serious."
