LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 20-year-old man has been charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault for a January 15 shooting in Lancaster Township.

Kaylon E. Cowan, of Lancaster, was taken into custody Tuesday and sent to Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 bail, according to Manheim Township police.

Cowan is accused of shooting a 27-year-old man in the neck during an incident in a parking lot in the 1700 Block of Judie Lane.

Police said the victim, who was not identified, drove from the scene and collided with a Lancaster City Fire Department vehicle that was responding to an unrelated call.

He was then transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
