Chambersburg man jailed for stabbing

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Chambersburg man has been jailed for the attempted homicide of a man in his apartment building early Wednesday.

Terence Murphy, 58, of 276 S. Main Street Apt 1, is accused of stabbing 54-year-old Rodney Seville, according to borough police.

Officers had responded to 276 S. Main Street Apt 12 for the incident at around 2:36 a.m.

Seville was transported to Chambersburg Hospital for treatment.

Murphy was sent to the Franklin County Jail on $500,000 bail.

Police said their investigation is continuing.
