LIVERPOOL, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police say an adult store worker conspired with her boyfriend to stage a robbery at her place of employment.

Authorities were investigating a robbery that occurred at the Adult World in the 2000 block of the Susquehanna Trail in Perry County in the early morning hours of Nov. 5, 2012.

They say a man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. It is believed the robber was armed with a gun.

Following a police investigation, authorities determined that the store employee who reported the incident, 28-year-old Christina Nipple of Duncannon, was involved in the staged robbery.

Nipple's boyfriend, 22-year-old Theodore Laverty III, also of Duncannon, was the suspect who entered the store, according to police. Officers say he was seen on the store's video camera.

Both Nipple and Laverty are facing multiple charges including conspiracy, theft and false reports.
