YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are looking for help from the public in identifying a man wanted for a bank robbery in Springettsbury Township, York County.

Township police said the man presented a note to the teller demanding money from the Wells Fargo bank at 50 Haines Road at approximately 4:20 p.m. Friday.

The note indicated that he had a weapon, but none was displayed, police said.

The robber was described as a light-skinned Hispanic or Asian male, about 6'0" tall, 230 pounds with a muscular build, and between 20 and 30 years of age, police said. He was wearing wire framed eyeglasses, wearing a red baseball cap, black shirt and faded blue jeans.

Police have released surveillance photos from the bank so that someone may recognize the suspect. Anyone with information may call the Springettsbury Township Police Department at 717-757-3525.
