Teen hospitalized after cycling accident

DILLSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 13-year-old boy was flown to a hospital Monday evening after he was struck while bicycling in Franklin Township, York County.

Northern York County Regional police said the teen was cycling in the 700 block of Range End Road when he turned into the path of a 1996 Dodge Caravan driven by 69-year-old Robert Tabler, of Dillsburg.

The teen, who was not identified by police, was flown to Penn State Hershey Medical Center following the accident that occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Tabler was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
