LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a suspected robbery attempt in Lebanon on Tuesday, April 23.

At around 1:10 a.m. officers were dispatched to Issis Oil Store located at 12th and Cumberland streets for a reported robbery attempt.

The clerk at the store told police that the business was empty when three men entered, all wearing hoodies with the hoods pulled tight or with masks to conceal their faces. They also wore dark clothing.

The men quickly approached the counter, and the clerk, believing he was going to be robbed, yelled at them.

He then went into the office area and locked the door.

The three men then left the store without taking anything. The clerk didn't see any weapons, and the men didn't speak to him.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information may contact the Lebanon City Police Department.
