HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have identified the victim of Tuesday's fatal crash on Route 422 in Derry Township.

Kenneth Klinger, 86, of Palmyra, was the driver of a Chevrolet Uplander that overturned after it struck the back of a stopped tractor-trailer near Mansion Road, township police said Wednesday.

Police have said the Chevrolet drove onto a lowered trailer ramp and went onto the trailer bed where it struck a piece of construction equipment.

Klinger was trapped in the overturned SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The crash closed Route 422, known locally as East Chocolate Avenue, between McKinley Road and Mansion Road for more than four hours.
