ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

Elizabethtown College has disciplined some of the students who were allegedly involved in a series of racial and anti-gay incidents.

The students were either suspended, placed on disciplinary probation, or relocated on the campus, according to college spokeswoman Amy Mountain.

All disciplinary action was taken at the college level and no criminal charges have been filed, according to Mountain, who added that the investigation is ongoing.

She said the college also met with the NAACP to talk about a partnership in prevention and education programs.

The college has been investigating at least 19 incidents in which racial and anti-gay slurs and threats were either spoken or written on dorm room message boards and other locations since February.

School officials had also contacted the FBI, which determined the incidents were not hate crimes.
