Barber, customers robbed at gunpoint

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg barbershop owner and several customers were robbed at gunpoint by a pair of masked men, police said.

The victims said the robbers entered the Woolf Doctors Barber Shop at 2626 Derry Street and forced everyone to surrender their valuables shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to city police.

The pair got away with money, cell phones and credit cards. The victims were not harmed.

One of the robbers was armed with a handgun and spoke in a Southern accent. He was also described as black with a dark complexion, about 6'0" tall, and wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask, police said.

His accomplice was said to be carrying a backpack. He was described as having a lighter complexion, about 5'10" tall, and wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask, police said.
