Light rain showers have overspread the region, and brought us a couple hundredths of an inch of rain, but nothing to write home about. We'll continue to see a little drizzle through the overnight, with showers redeveloping toward dawn. The clouds associated with this weather system will be sticking around for the first half of the week, locking us in for Monday & Tuesday.
Monday will feature scattered showers, likely not amounting to all that much rainfall, around a quarter, to maybe half of an inch. Some drizzle will continue into Tuesday, before we try and break the funk by Wednesday. Consider Wednesday a transition day; a little sun, but still lots of clouds.
By late in the week, a blocking pattern in the atmosphere will allow us to see partly cloudy skies and slightly warmer temperatures. Expect highs around 60 early in the week with all the clouds, but getting to near 70 by Friday & Saturday.
