HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a shooting at a pizza shop in Harrisburg.

At around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to MDO's Pizza in the 1700 block of Derry Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

A woman from Susquehanna Township told police that she had been sitting in her car at the pizza shop when someone fired numerous shots.

Bullets hit her windshield and a side window, and after leaving the scene she said her car stopped unexpectedly. She told police that one of her tires was flat, and the engine was leaking fluids.

During an investigation at the pizza shop, officers found bullet holes along the outside of the building. During that time they received another report of a man at Harrisburg Hospital for a bullet wound.

Police arrived at Harrisburg Hospital's ER and spoke to the victim who told officers he was at the pizza shop that night. The victim said he was in line to order food when he heard several shots and felt a pain in his lower leg.

He went to see his wife in Hall Manor, and she took him to the emergency room.

The investigation continues. Anyone with information may contact police at 717-255-7299 or 717-255-3114.
