G.W. high school in Danville will have a new head football coach named Nick Anderson.
He was picked out of more than 45 applicants.
The position is pending approval from the school board. They are expected to meet Thursday.
He comes to G.W. after three years at Kinston High in North Carolina. He was 30-10 there and led the Vikings to the 2011 state title game.
According to the Kinston Free Press article, Anderson's parents recently relocated to Danville so he'll be right at home, becoming the fourth coach GW has had in the last five years.
