Police: Carlisle man drunk when he led them on a chase
CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
Carlisle Police have arrested a man they say scraped the side of a building and ran over several items when police tried to pull him over Saturday.
Police say 24-year-old Favian D. Padilla of Carlisle was drunk when they tried to pull him over for going the wrong way on the first block of West Louther Street at 2:07 a.m. They say he then fled, running over two curbs, a traffic sign and parking meter and scraping the side of the post office.
Padilla has been charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding police, driving the wrong way on a one way street and driving under the influence while having a suspended license.
Padilla was taken to Cumberland County Booking Center, processed and released.
