MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have arrested a Mechanicsburg man for his alleged role in five armed robberies at businesses in Cumberland County.

Dustin Y. Leinbach, 24, was charged Monday with robbery, theft, simple assault, conspiracy, and a firearms violation, according to Upper Allen Township police.

Kennedy is accused of participating in robberies at the Pizza Hut at 610 East Simpson Street on November 4, the Subway restaurant at the Windsor Park Shopping Center on November 12, the Hemps Above tobacco shop at 105 North Arch Street on November 15, the Subway in the 1000 block of Wesley Drive on November 18, and the Subway at 4 Gettysburg Pike on December 11.

Police on April 18 arrested another man, 24-year-old Alex J. Kennedy, also of Mechanicsburg, for committing the robberies.

Kennedy allegedly used a handgun for the robberies at Hemps Above and the Wesley Drive Subway, and a crowbar or stick during the crimes at the Pizza Hut and Windsor Park Subway, police said. A knife was used during the hold-up at the Gettysburg Pike Subway.

Leinbach was being held on $100,000 bail at the Cumberland County Prison, where Kennedy remains jailed on the same charges. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for both men on May 6.
