An eight-year-old girl was injured Monday evening when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lancaster County, police said.
Manheim Township police said the girl was crossing the street at Jennings and Michelle Drive in Lancaster Township just after 6 p.m. and was struck by a gold SUV that continued on without stopping, police said.
The girl was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
