GETTYSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

For the second time in five months, a Gettysburg man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into child pornography and sexual abuse.

Michael Allen Orner, 28, was taken into custody Tuesday by state police in Gettysburg and members of the Computer Crimes Task Force.

Police said their most recent investigation revealed that Orner coerced, through use of physical force or threats, eight victims under the age of 18 to take pictures and video of themselves posing naked in sexually explicit positions.

According to police, he also had over 50,000 images and movie files depicting child pornography on his computer in two folders: one labeled "under 12," the other "under 18."

Authorities said Orner threatened to publicly post naked pictures of a 14-year-old victim unless she met him for oral sex. He was aware of her age, police report.

Orner was arraigned Tuesday and subsequently committed to the Adams County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Gettysburg residents still cannot believe the charges.

"Its disgusting to know something like this is happening so close to you in your community," Gettysburg native Britany Noble said.

"That's really sad. I am discouraged that type of thing is happening," Anne Bounds of Gettysburg said.

Officials charged Orner with 10 counts of sexual abuse of children/possession of child pornography, 8 counts of unlawful contact with minors, 8 counts of corruption of minors, 8 counts of photographing, videotaping, depicting on computer or filming sexual acts, and 1 count of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse.

In December of 2012,  Orner was charged with stalking, photographing, videotaping, depicting on computer or filming sexual act, unlawful contact with minors, and sexual abuse of children/possession of child pornography.

According to court documents, those incidents took place in September of 2005. He is currently awaiting trial on those charges.
