It's been a good run, but as the weekend winds down, so too does our sunshine chances in the forecast. Clear skies will remain through the overnight, with clouds returning on an easterly flow toward morning. Some will burn off during the day Monday, but many will remain, leading to a partly cloudy day that should still remain dry.
Meanwhile, the slow-moving weather system that helped keep our weather clear, will now return the favor with an abundance of clouds. The region will get socked in by clouds Monday night, straight through to Thursday, with a few showers as well. The best chance for rain looks to be Wednesday. It won't amount to much, but some parts of the area could see a half an inch of shower activity.
Expect a little sun to return late in the work week, but clouds will continue to be the focus even into next weekend. Right now a rainy setup appears possible for next Saturday & Sunday, but there is still time to hash out the details.
