Police say a Perry County couple previously involved in a robbery is facing criminal charges again.

According to authorities, state troopers were called to the M&K fuel stop on Allegheny Street in Dauphin County for a reported armed robbery at around 7 p.m. Saturday evening.

Officials say 22-year-old Theodor Laverty of Duncannon entered the store, displayed a small black handgun and demanded money. He got away in a red Dodge Caravan with $270 in cash.

Police say 28-year-old Christina Nipple was the getaway driver.

The couple was found and arrested at 9 p.m. that night in Susquehanna Township. Officers spotted the vehicle parked at a Unimart on Front Street.

Both Laverty and Nipple had been charged previously in connection with a robbery scheme at an Adult World in Buffalo Township.
