Computers stolen in burglary at CD East

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Computers and other electronics were stolen during a weekend break-in at Central Dauphin East High School, police said Monday.

Lower Paxton Township police said the theft was discovered after a burglar alarm was activated Sunday at around 4:18 a.m.

The building and numerous classrooms had been forcibly entered, a large number of laptops and other electronics were stolen, and many other items had been prepared for removal but were left behind, police said.

The total loss was not immediately determined.

Police said they are reviewing surveillance video and following several leads based on evidence found at the crime scene.
