HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two men were rescued from the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg after their raft capsized at the Dock Street Dam.

Dauphin County 911 dispatchers said passersby witnessed the raft overturn and saw the two men signal for help shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.

Water rescue crews responded and were able to get the two safely out of the water. Both were stranded in the churning waters below the dangerous low-head dam near the Interstate 83 South Bridge.

Harrisburg River Rescue unit Chief Steve Ketterer said one of the men complained of neck pain after he was rescued, while the other seemed uninjured. Both were treated at a hospital.
