Republican voters in Carlisle have elected William Kronenberg as their candidate for mayor.
According to the unofficial tally from Tuesday's primary election, Kronenberg defeated challenger Don Smith by collecting about 71 percent of the vote.
Kronenberg received 574 votes, while Smith gathered 236 votes.
On the Democratic ticket, Timothy A. Scott was unopposed.
